About Love Your Life

Love Your Life is an outcomes-based health incentive program which promotes healthy living through behavioral, educational, and risk-reduction activities. All ARHS employees and their spouses are welcome to join Love Your Life at any time.

All ARHS Employees are encouraged to join Love Your Life.


Enrollment in Love Your life is easy.

Employees and their spouses are invited to enroll in Love Your Life each year during open enrollment in September. This program is open to any FT, PT, or PRN ARHS employee, regardless of health plan enrollment or length of employment. Spouses of ARHS employees are invited to join Love Your Life for free lab work and to participate in various worksite wellness programs and earn prizes through quarterly wellness challenges.

Employees will complete:

  • Online Health Risk Assessment
  • Biometric assessment (height, weight, body composition, blood pressure, and waist circumference)
  • Fasting blood draw

Spouses will complete:

  • Biometric assessment (height, weight, body composition, blood pressure, and waist circumference)
  • Fasting blood draw

Once enrolled in Love Your Life, employees are eligible for program incentives which include premium discounts and Wellness Credits. Click here for more details about enrollment.


Award-Winning Programming

Employee Wellness The Appalachian Regional Healthcare System (ARHS) Employee Wellness program was established in October 2005. Since its inception, the wellness program has evolved into a successful metrics driven program which includes worksite Fitness Challenges (Walk with Spirit, winner Active at Work award in 2007), weight management (Show Me the Weigh, 2014 Fit Friendly Worksite Innovation designation), and Love Your Life and supporting programs (winner, 2014 Superstar Award). The Employee Wellness program is designed, implemented, and managed by Leslie Roberts, CHES (winner, 2014 WellSteps Coordinator of the Year) and her team. Awards BeActive Appalachian Partnership
